At Frogloop: Successful organizations on Twitter: Wellstone Action

wellstone-actionI had the opportunity to interview the fabulous Elana Wolowitz of Wellstone Action for the non-profit blog Frogloop about how their organization is using Twitter:

We try to keep it light, informal, and funny — providing helpful resources and interesting links, and being responsive to our followers, while also using it as a way to crowdsource and get buy-in and guidance on new projects.  We want to have a mix of self-promotional content and links to things happening in the progressive movement that our audience should know about, but might not necessarily read about from any traditional or even new media sources.

I was interviewed for an article about the Internet and the campaign season for LinuxInsider:

“A lot of little folks are being empowered with tools and communications in ways that were previously unavailable,” Zandt told LinuxInsider.

This, she said, is “a huge paradigm shift, from a small number of people controlling communications to everyone having the power to communicate with everyone else.”

I feel so hardcore!
